If you are using Mapcaso via the website on a home computer or your personal device, checkmark the "Remember Me" option box in the login screen to keep you logged in. We don't recommend using this option on computers and devices that are shared with other users such as those at your school or library. If you are using Mapcaso via the iOS or Android app, it should automatically remember you until you log out manually or until your authentication expires.

Mapcaso is here to help! Your password is encrypted so we can't see it or change it for you. Instead, click the "Forgot Password" link and we'll email instructions to the email address associated with your account to change your password.

Once you're logged into your account, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, click the Settings button and a red button labeled 'Delete My Account' will be at the bottom of the resulting page. Deletion will permanently remove all your activity, doodles, quizzes, and account information. Please note! Your account cannot be restored after it is deleted.

Once you're logged into your account, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, click the Settings button. On the resulting page, toggle the button labeled 'Receive email updates from Mapcaso' to either enable or disable periodic email updates from Mapcaso. You can change this setting at any time.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Draw button on the upper right. Your mouse cursor should turn into crosshair. You can now click and drag on the map to draw within your current map extent. The sidebar on left has the following options:

a) In the draw tab:
1. You can assign a maximum of 5 category tags to a doodle.
2. You can choose to share it on Mapcaso community or keep it private.
3. You can change the Brush type from the dropdown that will let you select various brush patterns.
4. You can change brush thickness which will reflect while drawing.
5. You can change brush color which will reflect while drawing.
6. You can change brush shadow thickness which will reflect shadow effect size while drawing.
7. You can also choose brush shadow color which will render a shadow effect while drawing.
8. Click undo button on top right to undo last step and redo to redo last step.

b) In the stickers tab:
1. Choose from a wide variety of sticker options to add to your doodle.
2. Click on the sticker to add to the map.
3. You can now click and drag on the sticker to move it around on the map where you need it placed.
4. You can click the corner squares to resize it.
5. You can click on the top most square to rotate it on the axis.
6. Click undo button on top right to remove it and redo to add it back in.

c) In the text tab:
1. Select font size for your text.
2. Select text color, text shadow size or shadow color.
3. Click insert text button to add text on the map
4. Double click/tap on "Enter your text here!" message to select the default text and type your new text. Single click/tap once outside to confirm your changes.
5. You can click the corner squares to resize it.
6. You can click on the top most square to rotate it on the axis.
7. Click undo button on top right to remove it and redo to add it back in.

After you are finished with your drawing you can press the Save button on top to save it, clear to start over or cancel to discard your drawing and get out of draw mode.

Click on the hamburger menu on the top left. Click on the toggle switch button on my doodles/quizzes option to show/hide your doodle/quiz layer.
Toggle between "Off", "Latest", "Random" and "Popular" option by clicking on the public doodles/quizzes option show/hide other's doodle/quiz layer.

Mouse over/ click on the layer button on the top right of the map. This should show various basemap options such as Road, Mono, Hybrid, Aerial and Terrain radio button. Choose one of them to toggle basemap layer and it should change on the map.

Click on "Show my current location" button which is below the change basemap layer button on the top right of the map which will take you to your current location on the map. Click it again to toggle it off.

You can use the + and - button on top left of the map to zoom in and zoom out. You can also click/tap on the map and use left/right/top/bottom arrows on your keyboard to pan around or use your mouse to pan around as well.

Click on the search address button which is below show me where I am button on the top right of the map. You can then type in a county, state, city, county or an address and press enter to view suggested results. Once you pick a result the map will zoom to your searched location and a pin will show at the location.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the recycle bin icon button with the x symbol on the doodle/quiz you wish to delete. You will be asked for a confirmation to delete the specific doodle/quiz. Click yes to confirm and delete it. Please note! This action cannot be reversed.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the share doodle/quiz icon button on the doodle/quiz you wish to share. A popup will open showing your doodle/quiz on the map. If your doodle/quiz is already shared on mapcaso you will instead see an unshare this doodle/quiz button. Otherwise click on "create share link" button. This will create a share URL. You can then use "copy link to clipboard" button to copy it onto your clipboard and share the link with friends and family. You can also click on facebook or twitter button which will prompt for a login and post to social media. You could also post the link on other social media sites to share it with everyone. Please note that anyone who gets access to this link will have the ability to view your doodle/quiz and comment about it.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the share doodle/quiz icon button on the doodle/quiz you wish to unshare. You should see an unshare this doodle/quiz button after the popup shows your currently shared doodle/quiz. Click on it to unshare the doodle/quiz. If your doodle/quiz is not shared you will instead see the "create share link" button. In this case no further action is necessary. Please note that anyone who has access to this link will no longer have the ability to view your doodle/quiz and comment about it.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the eye icon button which will make the selected doodle/quiz public on Mapcaso. Other Mapcaso users may now view and comment on this doodle/quiz.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the green globe icon button which will make the selected doodle/quiz private on Mapcaso. Your doodle/quiz is now private on Mapcaso. Please note that this is different from the share doodle/quiz link option. If you created a share link for this doodle/quiz it is still visible to the people who have access to the link.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the show doodle/quiz on map icon button which will zoom to your doodle/quiz on map.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner. It is labeled "Account" or with your first name. Then, select the my doodles/quizzes option which will open a popup with the preview of your doodles/quizzes. Now click on the comment icon button which will open the comment popup. You can then view comments from other users about your doodle/quiz.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the "Like & Comment" button on the upper right. Note that this button will be visible ony when public doodles layer is turned on. You can then click the like button on the other user's doodle you wish to like.

You can then click the report this doodle button on the doodle you wish to report. This will bring up a confirmation popup. After you confirm, the doodle will be reported to us. Our team will then review the content to confirm that it is offensive and remove the reported doodle.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click one of the "quiz" pin on map. Note that the pins will be visible ony when public quizzes layer is turned on. You can then click the report this quiz button. This will bring up a confirmation popup. After you confirm, the quiz will be reported to us. Our team will then review the content to confirm that it is offensive and remove the reported quiz.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click the "Like & Comment" button on the upper right. Note that this button will be visible ony when public doodles layer is turned on. You can then click the comment about this doodle button on the doodle you wish to comment. This will then bring up a comment popup. You can then post comments.

Once you're logged into Mapcaso, click one of the "quiz" pin on map. Note that the pins will be visible ony when public quizzes layer is turned on. You can then click the comment about this quiz button on the quiz you wish to comment. This will then bring up a comment popup. You can then post comments.

1) Click on one of the green question mark Icons on the map.
2) Read over the quiz details.
3) In the bottom right corner click "Start Quiz"
4) Once the quiz is started read the question on the top of your screen.
5) Circle/tap where you think answers the question.
6) Work through the quiz or click the "Exit Quiz" button.

1) Click the Quiz Checkmark Icon on the top right of your screen.
2) Name your quiz.
3) Add some category tags so those searching can find your quiz. (Eg. Geography, History, Mexico)
4) Choose the number of attempts someone can have per question of your quiz.
5) Decide if you want Mapcaso to show the correct answer after an incorrect question attempt or skip.
6) Decide if you want users to have the ability to skip questions.
7) Choose if you want the answer to be correct if a user circles it or if they have to click it exactly.
8) Choose how difficult will your quiz be.
9) Choose the age group your quiz is applicable to.
10) Choose which map you would like to use for your quiz.
11) Click the next button and start on your first question.
12) Enter your question in the "Ask your question" box.
13) Enter a answer label on the map or leave this field blank.
14) Enter a hint for the user if they are struggling with the question.
15) Circle the area on the map to the right that will be the answer to your question.
16) Click Add a new question to continue adding questions to the quiz.
17) When ready click finish quiz.
18) Choose how many questions someone must get right in order to pass the quiz.
